How well have you navigated the last 18 months or so? We’ve all been presented with what may be described as extraordinary circumstances, and over which the majority thought we had little control. Or, did we? Do we have more control than we think moving forward from this present moment? And, how well prepared are we for life after Covid 19?

As a seasoned observer, people mostly do what they know and what they’ve been programmed to do. How they live is often dependent on how much they let conditions, outside opinions and their own habits and insecurities rule their behaviors and their choices.

“We’ve all been programmed with opinions and beliefs that have been imprinted upon us by our families of origin or adoption and influenced by those in our environments growing up. And those that imparted those routines and beliefs were imprinted by their family, and back it goes through generation to past generation. ”

How conscious and aware have our predecessors been? That is certainly not a criticism, it’s another observation and an apparent vast societal outcome.

A society that has often promoted established educational systems and business models that do not necessarily promote healthy individual development, life skills and well-being. And as this sounds like an op-ed in the making, I will move on to some useful information to share with you.

There is longstanding research that shows that the brain does not differentiate between an imagined experience and one that you might interpret as being real.

Another fascinating facet of that is that depending on what energy frequency you are currently operating on, you may interpret something as being real that I don’t even recognize if we are experiencing a different wavelength of existence, of experience.

I daresay that is the basis of the differences of perceptions, perspectives, and opinions and, therefore, differences of life experiences.

Because we are of the human edition of this universe, we have been gifted with the higher faculties of imagination, intuition, memory, perception, reason and will. We all have the innate ability to utilize our imagination at higher levels than many of us have developed.

If the brain does not differentiate between an imagined experience and a real experience, then why don’t most of us use our imagination more?

We have the choice now to honor all that have succumbed and hold them in solid memory with love, to imagine and visualize how we would love for our lives to be and use our will to immerse ourselves in that vision, that blueprint, to use the vibration of that vision to our advantage.

The vibration of love is far greater, higher, than the vibration of grief, remorse, anger, or regret.

Each one of us is an electromagnetic being and we are energy—we operate on energy frequencies. We also, with our higher faculty of will, have a choice of what frequency we choose to operate on, or in. This lends credence to “happiness is a choice.’

Each morning that we awaken with the gift of another day, of opportunities, we have the choice to drag the issues or problems of the previous day along with us, which keeps us on the same and predictable frequency, and in tune, so to speak, with the frequency that we may have been living in for a very long time.

It’s likely that there are unwanted aspects of our lives living on the wavelength.

We have the opportunity to make a different choice, to choose a new path, to create new neuro-pathways in service of a new tomorrow—which is especially important when living life after Covid 19.

If we all took on the practice of envisioning, as the majority of athletes and actors do, most of us would be living different lives.

Rehearsal of a desired outcome is condoned for those, though many people outside of those professions are not exposed to this line of thinking.


RELATED | Rethinking & Reconsideration

I was speaking with a new acquaintance about this recently. She teaches a form of energy medicine herself and she was interested in how I might prepare for a role as an actor.

I told her that it’s really not different than what she and I both teach our clients—we teach our clients to imagine and visualize and embody the life they would love.

We provide them tools with which to work with and are effective for their lifetime, the focus of which might be the desired outcome of a situation, a new home, the love of our life—whatever it is for them that they would love.

If I am preparing for a role, I do basically the same thing—envision the goals of this character.

Who is this woman, what would she love, what are the obstacles and how can she navigate through these conditions? What does she do every day, what does she wear, who does she live with, what kind of auto does she drive, what are her favorite foods, does she like dogs or does she prefer cats, or does she prefer plants?

I would sometimes take myself out for lunch as that woman. What’s her favorite restaurant? How does she interact with the people there?

The beauty of preparing for the role of our lives is that we have the opportunity to choose the person we want to be and the role we want to play.

Will there be obstacles? Of course! However, we get to write our own script, and at a higher vibration that we can live in to.

We have the privilege of playing all the parts—the writer, the actor, the director and the producer, too. And, don’t forget wardrobe and make up!

And, then there are the location scouts and the set builders, and, and, and…….think about who you want to be on the frequency that you aspire to.

Who might you already know that is on that vibration? And, who will you meet there and on the way?

Another thing to consider is that our bodies identify with the frequencies we live in. Our bodies work 24/7 to keep all our systems running smoothly, to accommodate the veering off course of the optimum performance that the body is ultimately geared for.

It’s a very high percentage of lifestyle habits—the last I read indicated over 90%—that allow for the disease and untoward conditions to inhabit these bodies of ours.

I encourage each one of us to consider what we can do better in terms of serving our bodies, these amazing temples of existence that we have the privilege of occupying for a period of time, called life here on earth.

When you choose your thoughts, you choose your energy and when you attach positive emotions to that energy you change your life.

Imagine the life that you want—see it, hear it, feel it, taste it, take in the fragrance of it.  As Albert Eintstein said,

“Everything is energy and that is all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality that you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy, this is physics.”

Does all of this happen overnight? It’s not likely, though the more generous you are with yourself in terms of supporting your imagination, the more fulfilled you become, and your world expands in concert with life’s energy’s constant quest of fuller and freer expression of itself.
